Wimple font and thread colour decision

    

I have decided to go with this font and to embroider it in bubblegum pink thread. These choices mess with the coding involved in the piece. And the colour choice has a relationship with how femineity is one of the things robbed of nuns. The whole aesthetic has feminist overtones and feels like a nod to the reclamation of power from systemic abuse.

This feels much more resolved yet still holds the ambiguity I am pitching for. I am pleased with how the piece has developed and very much look forward to seeing it finished and curated in the gallery.
