Subversive stitch pillow experiments 1

I decide to create textile pieces to focus on the idea of human connection and delicacy. I started to collect examples of pillow talk that I have shared. And then experimented with stitching them to used pillows. 

While I look the concept, they don't feel the right direction to pursue for this project. The literal messaging detracts from the ambiguous messaging of the other pieces I am working on. 

I have decided to continue with the idea of pillow pieces but in a more abstract and sculptural format.
