During my research around jelly artists I found out about gelatin printing, which I am definitely going to experiment with. It's jelly all the way down.

Bethan Hemus: I have tried many things over time, but I always return to art. Art is not a luxury for me, it's an essential mechanism for exploring myself and my connection with others. I need that. I think we all need that. I would rather be in dialogue than monologue about this, which is why I incorporate paradox and ambiguity in my work; to ask questions, making space for reply and shared learning. My personal and professional experiences drive my emotional development, just as they drive my motivation to explore themes creatively; particularly trauma, activism and mending.
