Modding the power supplies for the inflatable piece
It became clear during the tests that it would be much better for each column fan power supply to be wireless and contained within the bucket. It avoids the wiring/ trip hazard issues. And it offers much more flexibility with where the sculpture can be situated.
It also offers long term flexibility for the piece with regards to installation, as it removes the issue of mains power access.
I sourced 5 12amp motorbike batteries and wired them up to each fan.
I then masked all the exposed metal components with electrical tape to remove the risk of arcing/ fire hazard.
