Sketchbook and daily practise

I’m finding it hugely useful to keep up this sketchbook. It’s something I haven’t done in a very long time, but the benefits are obvious and myriad. The practice is helping me experiment in ways that previously didn’t feel possible, giving me permission to play, to fail, to think visually without pressure.

Having everything held together in close proximity like this is revealing new insights into my recurring themes, materials, and preferences. It feels less like a record and more like a conversation.

A place where connections surface naturally.
