Guardian of Whimsy

Pleased with how this came out, adorable and bizarre in equal measure, it strikes enough wrong chords to make it right in a complicated way. I am so pleased I didn't further finesse the triangular finish of the surface. It looks both computerised in a shit retro gaming way but also as if it has been carved from soap or whittled from wood. Possibly made in a prison somewhere. Or vomited out of a wormhole from a games console that's played in a parallel dimension.

The colour banding is suggestive of trousers but not quite correct and again this feels correct.

Their perched stance is purposeful and calm but also feels animated.

I haven't quite decided how I like them to be constructed, because they looked equally good dismembered. Needs more play. And I also need to decide how I want to curate them.

I am printing more, I think it would look even stronger if there was a row of them.
