Fuming a mirror, talking to a curious candle

Is actually harder than you'd imagine. Like everything, it has its art. I *think* I've figured it. It's just a slow process.

Why am I doing this asks the question mark candle wick?

SAY IT TEN TIMES FAST.

Again though, why are you doing this asks the question mark candle wick? Because art is not just for arts sake. It is for that too. And that is hugely important and valid and beautiful and juicy and yielding. But it is also for society. It is a scaffold for collective conversation and collective intelligence. A place where we can ask questions and explore things, poke things, including bits of ourselves. To play. To learn. To try to make sense of it. To have it make less sense. To learn how to heal and love and collaborate. Better. With every smudge of smoke.

Creating art in this way doesn't necessarily solve the worlds problems. But it can offer dialogue and introspection. And it can bring peace to our hearts. And that is worthwhile. Because that is the start of how we solve the problems outside. By solving the problems within. And that is why I am doing this, question mark candle wick.
