When the going gets tuft, the tuft gets going

Thanks Billy Ocean, my bastard ear worm of your song got me through today.

Lip colour is not right, I will change that tomorrow.

Had to change a few of the outline decisions I'd already made which meant a bunch of unpicking and re-tufting but it was worth it because I am really pleased with it as it stands.

I just have the last hand left to do which I can get done tomorrow.

Then gluing the back with latex. I've bought professional latex glue that is strong, dries quickly and flexibly so it can be rolled up for storage.

Once the glue is dry I will be shaving the front tuft, trimming and glueing the edges of the monkscloth for a neat finish.

I need to create some templates with paper before I glue so I can use them to cut my MDF backing supports to hang it from.

Still not done yet, but so so close now. I WILL have this ready for the exhibition.
